Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy applies to all TerraShell products purchased from QuietProtector (a brand operated by Alpha Performance USA LLC). By placing an order you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Who We Are
TerraShell is a QuietProtector brand, owned and operated by Alpha Performance USA LLC, 5203 Juan Tabo Blvd. NE Suite 2a, Albuquerque, NM 87111, USA. All warranty claims, returns, and support requests are handled directly by Alpha Performance USA LLC.
2. 120-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind every TerraShell with a 120-day Satisfaction Guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase within 120 days from the delivery date, you may contact us at support@quietprotector.com to request a full refund of the product price.
Original shipping fees, if any, are non-refundable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived defective or was shipped in error.
3. 2-Year Limited Warranty
In addition to the 120-day Satisfaction Guarantee, every TerraShell is covered by a 2-Year Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects under normal, intended use. Coverage begins on the original delivery date and applies only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is required for any warranty claim.
4. What Is Covered
The 2-Year Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, including:
— Defective seams, seals, or thermal reflective lining;
— Manufacturing defects in the outer shell;
— Failure of the integrated whistle when used as intended;
— Defects in the storage pouch and closure system.
5. What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
— Improper use, abuse, or use outside the product’s intended
emergency-shelter purpose;
— Damage caused by fire, open flame, sharp objects, animals,
chemicals, or solvents;
— Normal wear and tear, including minor cosmetic blemishes;
— Modifications, alterations, or repairs not authorized by Alpha
Performance USA LLC;
— Loss or theft of the product;
— Damage occurring during shipment by the customer (e.g. when
returning the product without adequate protective packaging).
TerraShell is designed for emergency use. Repeated, recreational, or commercial use that exceeds the product’s intended use case is not covered.
6. How to Submit a Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty claim, contact our support team at support@quietprotector.com within the applicable coverage period and include:
— Your order number and full name on the order;
— A clear description of the defect or issue;
— Photos or a short video of the defective product;
— The shipping address where a replacement (if approved) should
be sent.
Our team will review your claim and respond within 3 business days. If your claim is approved we will, at our sole discretion, repair, replace, or refund the defective product.
7. Replacements
Approved warranty replacements ship at no cost to addresses within the United States. International replacements may be subject to shipping fees and applicable customs duties, which are the responsibility of the customer.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alpha Performance USA LLC’s total liability under this warranty is limited to the amount actually paid by the customer for the defective product. We are not liable for incidental, indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, TerraShell, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
TerraShell is an emergency thermal shell and is not a substitute for proper emergency planning, professional medical care, or emergency services. Always follow safety guidelines and contact emergency responders if you are in a life-threatening situation.
9. Non-Transferability
This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and only for products purchased directly through our official storefronts. It does not apply to products bought through third-party resellers, marketplaces (including Amazon and eBay), or any channel not authorized by Alpha Performance USA LLC.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Warranty Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Coverage for products purchased prior to a change will be honored under the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
